Devlog 1 - Concept

How would you describe your game?

A board game about class differences, showing through the shape of a train with his first and second class. You need to choose: Luck, Work or criminality? how are you going to get enough coins to make it to fist class?? 

What decisions have been made so far in regards to:

  • Engagement of the  game with the selected theme
  • Engagement of the  game with EU values
  • Inspiration from the museum and kick-off

We chose the EU value equality, and focused on different classes. So the Goal of our game idea was to increase awareness about the difference between first and second class (like in an train). We want to create engagement to make a board in the shape of a train en the more coins you collect the higher up you get. The museum inspired us to include making choices about the outcome, so in this game you need to choose: if you pick a criminality card you can get a relatively big reward but also a big punishment. If you choose luck the chance for a positive card is way bigger but the reward is smaller.
